Does any of this sound familiar?
You're not falling apart. You're functioning — maybe even thriving by most measures. But something underneath isn't right.
You're exhausted in a way that sleep doesn't fix.
You keep the peace, take care of everyone, and quietly resent it.
You've been through something you don't talk about — and it's still showing up.
You use something — alcohol, work, busyness — to get through, and it's starting to cost you.
You're hard on yourself in ways that feel out of proportion to what's actually happened.
You've hit a wall. The life you built doesn't fit anymore, and you don't know what comes next.
If you recognized yourself in any of these, you're in the right place.

About My Work
Therapy with me isn't about being told what's wrong with you. It's about slowing down enough to understand why you cope the way you do, and what those coping strategies have cost you.
Many of the people I work with are very good at functioning. They show up, get things done, and take care of everyone else. Eventually, though, the strategies that got them through start to fail. That might look like exhaustion, irritability, numbness, or old experiences that keep resurfacing. It might also look like relationships that feel one-sided, or a sense of self-worth that depends on being useful.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based care. We work at a pace that feels manageable, and you stay in the driver's seat. I'm direct when it helps and gentle when it matters, and there's room for humour along the way.
Why work with me.
- You don't have to explain why it's hard to ask for help. I work with people who carry a lot — first responders, veterans, caregivers, high achievers — and I understand what it's like to be the one everyone else relies on.
- You'll get honest, real conversation. No scripts and no empty reassurance — just a collaborative space where you can say what's actually true for you.
- Trauma and addictions are my focus. I take the lifelong impact of trauma seriously, and I treat coping patterns as understandable responses rather than character flaws.
- Therapy can fit how you live. Choose in-person or virtual sessions, 50 or 90 minutes, or try forest therapy if you'd rather walk and talk.
