Trauma & PTSD
You've carried this long enough.
Therapy for trauma, PTSD, and the people who spend their lives running toward crisis — even when they can't ask for help themselves.
What brought you here matters.
Trauma doesn't always look like what you've seen on TV. It can look like hypervigilance that never fully switches off. It can look like going through the motions at home while your mind is still at the scene. It can look like being the person everyone else leans on, while quietly wondering if you're falling apart.
Whether you're a paramedic, firefighter, police officer, nurse, or someone who has lived through something that changed you — you don't have to keep managing this alone.
For first responders and emergency workers.
The culture you work in asks you to be strong, capable, and unaffected. Asking for help can feel like a liability. I understand that. I work with first responders who are tired of white-knuckling it — people who want to function better, sleep better, and stop carrying the weight of every call they've ever taken.
- Confidential, non-judgmental sessions — virtual across Ontario
- Familiarity with first responder culture and operational stress injury
- No pressure to talk about things before you're ready
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
I'm trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, one of the most researched and effective treatments for PTSD. CPT works by helping you examine the beliefs that formed around a traumatic event — beliefs about safety, trust, power, esteem, and intimacy — and gently challenge the ones that are keeping you stuck. It's structured, evidence-based, and it works.
What working together looks like.
