Self-Worth & Shame

The harshest critic in the room is usually you.

Therapy for shame, self-worth, and the relational patterns that keep you feeling like you're never quite enough — no matter how much you achieve.

You don't have to have a diagnosis to feel like something is wrong.

A lot of people who come to therapy don't think of themselves as having trauma. They just know that they're hard on themselves in ways that feel out of proportion. That they shut down or get defensive in certain conversations. That they've spent years trying to earn a sense of worth they can never quite hold onto.

Shame is one of the most painful and least talked-about human experiences. It's not guilt — guilt says 'I did something bad.' Shame says 'I am bad.' And it tends to run quietly in the background, shaping how you relate to yourself and everyone around you.

What we might work on together.

The inner critic

The voice that tells you you're not doing enough, not good enough, not loveable enough. We'll look at where it came from and how to stop letting it run the show.

Shame and self-compassion

Learning to treat yourself with the same care you'd offer someone you love — not as a platitude, but as a practice.

Attachment patterns

How you learned to connect (or protect yourself from connection) in early relationships, and how those patterns show up now.

Defensiveness and emotional reactivity

When certain conversations or situations trigger a response that feels bigger than the moment — we'll explore what's underneath.

People-pleasing and boundaries

The exhaustion of always managing other people's feelings at the expense of your own.

A gentle, honest approach.

This work asks for courage. I'll bring warmth and directness in equal measure — I won't just validate everything you say, but I'll never make you feel judged for it either. We'll move at a pace that feels safe, and we'll build something real.

You deserve to feel differently about yourself.

That's not a cliché. It's something we can actually work toward.
